CSN Mission Statement
The mission statement of the Mental Health Consumer/Survivor Network of Minnesota is to organize consumers and others who believe in a mental health system based upon recovery and wellness. The Consumer/Survivor Network is dedicated to self-help, education, advocacy, and the fight against discrimination and stigma.

• Sponsored the passing of the Certified Peer Specialists Bill
  
  

• Providing ongoing support, information, and resources to consumers, families and providers through our central office in St. Paul and Regional Resource Centers in the East and West Twin Cities Metro area, Duluth, Bemidji, St. Cloud, Marshall, Austin, and Brainerd Area..
  
  
• Sponsoring the annual Wellness and recovery conference attended by consumers, family members, and providers.
  
  
• Expanding the Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) as an exemplary practice in Minnesota through a federal grant and providing more than 30 certified facilitators to present WRAP to more than 700 Minnesota Consumers since 2002
  
  
• Granting over $11,000 each year in Individual Employment Mini-grants for assistance in attaining employment goals
  
  
• Operating the Bridge, a consumer driven drop-in center in Austin, funded by Mower County.
  
  
• Establishing a self-help center at the Marshall Regional resource center with funds from a CSN Self help grant, the Network Grant and the SW 18 Mental Health Initiative.
  
  
• Communicating through the Recovery Connection newsletter and the CSN website at www.mhcsn.org
  
  
• Developing Vocational WRAP to assist in achieving employment success and collaborating with Rise Incorporated in implementation
